Pilgrimage Bread of Life: Feb 27 & 28
Join us on a Pilgrimage to St. Anthony's Chapel, known for the largest collection of relics outside the Vatican and St. Vincent's Archabbey, first Benedictine Monastery in the USA
with Fr. James Conlon, pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Ann Arbor.
Tuesday, February 27,
our bus departs from the front of St. Francis Church. We will arrive back home on Wednesday February 28, by 11 p.m.
Pilgrimages are times of prayer, shared experiences, reflections and retreat which focus our attention on “the one thing that is necessary (Luke 10:42).”
Our pilgrimage to the Chapel and ArchAbbey focuses on deepening our understanding of our Lord's references to bread as the food of Life, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. John 6:35" and will includes Mass, Scripture to Life Experiences, and other spiritual and educational opportunities. Tours from field to flour to bread will also take place.
